We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If for any reason you’re not happy with your order, we offer a hassle-free return and exchange process. Please read the guidelines below:
Return Eligibility
- Items must be returned within 15 days of the delivery date.
- The item must be unworn, unwashed, and in original condition with all tags attached.
- Items marked as Final Sale are not eligible for return or exchange.
How to Initiate a Return
To return an item, place the item securely in its original packaging and include your proof of purchase, then mail your return to the following address:

Processing Time
- Once we receive your return, we will process it within 5-7 business days.
- Refunds will be issued to the original payment method. Depending on your bank, it may take 5-10 business days for the funds to appear in your account.
Exchanges
- If you need a different size or color, you can request an exchange during the return process.
- Exchanges are subject to availability. If the item is no longer in stock, we will issue a refund instead.
- For exchanges, we cover the shipping cost of sending the new item to you.
Damaged or Incorrect Items
- If you receive a damaged or incorrect item, don’t hesitate to get in touch with us at info@ombree.co.nz within 48 hours of receiving your order. We will arrange for a replacement or full refund, including return shipping costs.
No return policy for handcrafted bags
- Unique Craftsmanship:
Handcrafted bags are made with care and precision, often involving traditional methods or unique designs. Due to the artisanal nature, each bag may have slight variations, which are part of the charm and individuality of handmade items. These differences are not defects but features that make each piece one-of-a-kind.
- Customization and Made-to-Order:
Many handcrafted bags are customized or made-to-order. Once these products are created, they may not be resalable, as they are often personalized to the buyer’s specifications (colour, size, or design details).
- Sustainability and Resource Investment:
Handcrafting each bag involves a significant investment of time, materials, and effort. Allowing returns could result in wasted resources, as the returned products may not be reusable or resalable, which conflicts with sustainable practices.
- Quality Assurance:
Great care is taken to ensure that each handcrafted bag is inspected for quality before it’s shipped to customers. Buyers can trust that they are receiving a well-made product.
Non-Returnable Items
- Sale items and accessories including bags cannot be returned.
